Empowering People - Inspiring Change through Football

Growing a Better Future for Promising Footballers

Why:

The Football Assessment Centre aims to develop young football players who are not only skilled on the pitch but also well-rounded individuals with strong character, leadership, and life skills. We believe that football can be a powerful tool for personal development, and we are committed to providing our players with a supportive and challenging environment that fosters their growth and development. Attendance at the Assessment Centre is by invitation only. All players will participate in showcase matches against professional academy teams and be coached by UEFA qualified coaches.

Our philosophy is built on the following principles:

  1. Bespoke Player-Centered Approach: We believe that the development of each player is unique, and we aim to provide a personalised approach to their development that is based on their strengths, and aspirations.
  2. Holistic Development: We believe that the development of our players goes beyond the football pitch. We aim to develop them as individuals who possess strong character, leadership, life skills and who can work with others as part of a team.
  3. Community Involvement: We believe in giving back to the community and encourage our players to become active members of their communities.

How we do our Why

To achieve our philosophy, we will use the following methodology:

  1. Football Training: Our football training programme will be designed to develop our players’ technical, tactical, physical, and psychological abilities. We will coach through a player-led directed methodology to maximise the performance and development of our players using tools like video & data analysis
  2. Character Development Curriculum: Our character development curriculum will be designed to develop our players’ leadership, emotional intelligence, and life skills. The curriculum will include workshops, seminars, and mentoring sessions that focus on values education, goal-setting, mindset training, and character development tasks.
  3. Cultural Exposure: We will expose our players to different cultures to broaden their perspective, develop cultural competence, enhance their communication skills, foster creativity, and develop empathy.
  4. Team Building Activities: We will organise team building activities to help our players develop teamwork, communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  5. Community Service Initiatives: We will encourage our players to become active members of their communities through community service initiatives. This will help them develop empathy, compassion, and a sense of social responsibility.
