How long does a volunteer trip last?
Our trips are 14 nights and cover everything you will need.
How much does a volunteer trip cost?
The total trip cost will depend on the cost of the flights at the time of booking. However, your fundraising target is approximately £2000, which will cover everything you need.
Will Goanserve help with fundraising?
Yes. We will provide suggestions for fundraising, and, as you’re part of a larger team, there will be opportunities for joint fundraising. You’ll find more information in our free volunteer guide, request yours here.
Do I need a visa to travel to India?
Yes. We will purchase your visa for you when you choose to ‘go and serve’ with us.
How safe are the trips?
Goa is usually a safe area to travel to. However, being part of a group enhances your safety. You will also have an experienced coordinator with you to assist and offer whatever support you need. If you have any questions regarding safety, please drop us a message, and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
Where will we sleep?
We have a few options for accommodation depending on the requirements of your group. All accommodation will be clean and usually on a bed and breakfast basis. Request a volunteer guide for more information.
How many travellers are in a group?
We usually have a maximum of ten travellers per group trip, and this includes at least one experienced group coordinator.
